Human Resource Manager - Mebane, NC

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for:
All aspects of plant recruiting (both permanent and temp); screening applicants for hire.
Verifying employee timekeeping and payroll
Employee engagement and assistance in problem resolution.
Management of employment events and community activities for the plant
Coordination of the Safety Program under the direction of the Plant Manager.
Support of the annual performance and pay review for the plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Verify electronic timekeeping and payroll for the site
Screen applicants and arrange interviews for qualified applicants.
Manage employee access to the facility.
Maintain employee HR records.
Implement plans to maintain/boost employee engagement.
Conduct new employee orientation and arrange on-boarding/training.
Act as liaison between employees and management.
Suggest, monitor and administer programs to improve employee engagement and performance.
Communicate processes and methods for creating and maintaining an organized, clean, high performance manufacturing facility.
Maintain high levels of communication with the workforce regarding the status of the business and key operational plans and/or initiatives.
Manage company assets effectively.
Implement HR process improvements to reduce administrative costs.
Monitor and report compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Regulations.
Coordinate & conduct Monthly Safety Committee meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources role; strong recruiting and generalist background.
Bachelor’s degree with focus in Human Resources, preferred.
Demonstrate high-level confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong process orientation and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities successfully.
Detail oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem solving.
Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees.
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
Above-average proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
PHR Certification preferred.
