Senior Business Development Manager - New Jersey

Position Summary

Precision Concepts is seeking a high-performing hunter to drive new business growth within the Consumer Healthcare and OTC packaging space. This role is focused on prospecting, penetrating, and closing new accounts, particularly across pharmacy and distributor channels, for OTC-compliant dosing and delivery products.


Key Responsibilities

- Drive new business development by identifying, targeting, and closing new accounts within:

• Retail pharmacy chains (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid)

• Independent pharmacies

• Pharmacy distributors (e.g., McKesson, Cardinal Health, AmerisourceBergen)

- Sell OTC-compliant dosing and delivery products (dosage cups, oral syringes, droppers) along with broader packaging solutions.

- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, with a strong focus on prospecting, cold outreach, and lead generation.

- Develop and execute strategic account entry plans to win new business and expand market share.

- Establish relationships with pharmacy buyers, category managers, and distributor decision-makers.

- Lead the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and discovery through quoting, sampling, negotiation, and closing.

- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and marketing to deliver tailored, compliant solutions.

- Maintain a strong understanding of OTC regulatory, labeling, and packaging requirements.

- Track market activity, competitive dynamics, and customer trends to identify new growth opportunities.

- Maintain accurate CRM reporting, forecasting, and pipeline visibility.


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years of proven hunter sales experience, with a track record of closing new business.

- Experience selling rigid packaging, plastics, or healthcare packaging, injection molded products specifically.

- Direct experience selling OTC-compliant dosing and delivery products strongly preferred.

- Experience selling into pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, and/or pharmaceutical distributors.

- Established relationships with pharmacy buyers or distributor organizations highly preferred.

- Working knowledge of U.S. FDA regulations, including OTC labeling, safety, and packaging requirements.

- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.

- Highly self-motivated and results-driven.

- Proficient in CRM tools, Salesforce is preferred, and Microsoft Office.

- Ability to travel up to 50%.
