Requirements:

· Operate measuring instruments and equipment and interpret technical documentation related to their work area.

· Repair electrical system failures of all plant equipment.

· Perform a check of the ice water system.

· Carry out a review in the electrical and mechanical area of the compressed air system where each piece of equipment that constitutes it is inspected, report the need for corrective or preventive maintenance that it deems necessary for the proper functioning of production equipment.

· Understand the basic operation of machines and production support equipment.

· Disassemble all or part of machines and equipment following instructions from their immediate supervisor and/or using plans or catalogues for maintenance or repair.

· Carry out any new projects for the assembly or disassembly of machines, equipment or mechanical systems.

· Inspect and rack the lubrication plan of all equipment and machines,

· Highlight complex maintenance requirements, i.e. those that are not covered in the scheduled maintenance plan.

· Interpret instructions marked on the technical instruments (electrical manuals, catalogues, etc.).

· Record in the maintenance software the electrical and mechanical modifications that were necessary to make during the repair to the machine, auxiliary equipment or electrical circuits of the plant.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years experience in manufacturing maintenance.

· Experience with injection and blow molding machines

· Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electronics, compressors and refrigeration equipment

· Understanding of SQF Certification and Good Manufacturing Practices

· Bilingual in English and Spanish
